CONSTRUCTION
MECOR has developed an in-house project approach that includes the impact of constructability analysis on our projects. Without specific construction knowledge supported by site surveys, there is a tendency to apply general company experience from seemingly similar past projects without recognizing the differences of the current project. Specific estimating assumptions regarding major construction methods, productivity of craft labor, indirect costs and the unique conditions of the site can be effectively made by a construction engineer familiar with the site. MECOR will include suitable resources with construction expertise and local site knowledge as team members when evaluating any construction projects.
